Do you have a wet basement? ATS Construction can help you with improving your drainage and sealing your existing foundation leak. With over 20 years of concrete experience our crew will carefully excavate around the exterior walls of your foundation.
We will assess and often correct issues with existing drainage which are quite common in our area. If we find damaged drainage systems because of age, poor installation, or repeated frost heave we’ll show you and figure out the most effective, efficient and cost-effective remediation. It does not make sense to spend money sealing a foundation that has an underlying drainage issue.
We will then pressure wash the foundation and seal the foundation using a quality product that is designed to last for years. Typically, we use the MEL-ROL System.
MEL-ROL waterproofing system is a flexible, versatile, dependable, bituminous, roll-type waterproofing membrane. It is composed of a nominally 56 mil thick layer of polymeric waterproofing membrane on a heavy duty, four-mil thick, cross-laminated polyethylene carrier film. The two components are laminated together under strict quality-controlled production procedures.
Many of our clients have told us the MEL-ROL system it is like roofing shingles for their foundation wall. A membrane is much different and significantly more effective than simply applying tar or driveway sealer to your foundation which others in the industry try to get by with. If you are spending the money on excavation, you do not want to have to ever repeat this process again!
We can also help with the building foundation repair and or replacement of failing foundations, whole and in part. Even the best foundations do not last forever. With our harsh winters and multiple freeze/thaw cycles in our region, it’s not uncommon for spauling, cracks, or movement which can compromise event a quality installed foundation.
